Reformed in 2024, Nuclēaria is a rising band in the local Southern California scene that draws influence from ‘90s and 2000s grunge and hard rock, with a modern twist. Their recent single “Loput” is a fervent tribute to late guitarist Jayson Loput and his penchant for shoegaze bands like Superheaven and Glare, which layers reverbed vocals

Reformed in 2024, Nuclēaria is a rising band in the local Southern California scene that draws influence from ‘90s and 2000s grunge and hard rock, with a modern twist. Their recent single “Loput” is a fervent tribute to late guitarist Jayson Loput and his penchant for shoegaze bands like Superheaven and Glare, which layers reverbed vocals over earworm riffs and frenetic drumwork. 


“Jayson would always write these reverby shoegaze songs with big, beautiful melodies, and I thought they were so gorgeous, but I was never really able to incorporate that into our music quite yet,” vocalist and guitarist Conner Gossman shares. “I had gone down to his place and worked on one, but obviously we got cut a little bit short. So it's super important to me that we bring that energy forward and really carry that legacy on.”

Currently consisting of Conner Gossman (vocals/guitar), Sean Connelly (drums), Grant L’Heureux (guitar), and Harley Josiah (bass), Nuclēaria has already accrued impressive accomplishments for a young band – from opening for Return to Dust, to performing at iconic venues like the House of Blues Anaheim. In combination with recent releases

In combination with recent releases “Blood and Borders” and “Goodbye Julio,” Nuclēaria will put out two singles succeeding “Loput” which will culminate as an EP later this year – ultimately a reflective time-capsule capturing 2024 to early 2025.
